In this self-paced online course, you will learn how to add new angles (other than 45 degrees) to your wood mosaic to create more complex patterns. I will show you how to turn construction timber or old furniture into the slim flat pieces you need to build your mosaic. We will go through different trimming options and I will show you how to frame your artwork.

The class also includes a Colour School where we go through colour combinations, palette aesthetics and different surface effects you can create with paint and varnish.

The course includes a shopping list so you can get all your equipment and materials ready before you start.

To build a wood mosaic with angles other than 45 degrees you need to have access to a mitre saw. Depending on how you choose to prepare your materials and do the trim work you will also require a table saw, however, this is optional and alternatives will be explained in this workshop.
