Barn Doors

Where art meets function

I’ve always seen a blank canvas in the most unexpected places. And what’s a better backdrop for a big statement piece than a whole interior door?

What began as an experiment to merge art with everyday function has grown into one of our most exciting creative journeys, and become our most popular custom order.

Our doors don’t just divide rooms, they transform them. They glide to save space, make a statement in style, and infuse warmth and character right into the heart of your home.

If you have been dreaming of a statement piece that is more than just a pretty picture on your wall, then you’re in the right place.

Our display door is always available at a discounted price, please use our Contact Form to enquire.

HOW TO COMMISSION A CUSTOM STUDIO SARAI DOOR:

Stage 1 – Complete our Order Form: Answer a few short questions to give us an idea of your vision. Once received, we will send you a quote and confirm the next available spots. Our wait period can be up to 6 months.

Stage 2 – Deposit: To secure your spot we take a 30% deposit. We accept card payment, bank transfer and Afterpay.

Stage 3 – Design Creation: While you’re waiting, we invite you to share anything further that inspires your vision. This could be photos of your space, screenshots of designs you love, mood boards, or even colour codes for your ideal palette. The more detail you share, the better we can shape a design that feels uniquely yours. Every little piece of inspiration helps us bring your project to life.

Stage 4 – Final Approval and Balance: A balance invoice will be issued once you have reviewed and approved the final design.

Stage 5 – Shipping: After full payment is received, your artwork will be delivered via courier or can be collected from our Fremantle studio (Western Australia).

We are lucky enough to own 2 amazing custom Studio Sarai pieces. The attention to detail, choice of wood, design and colour is really something you won’t find anywhere else. We absolutely love the way these pieces add warmth and texture to our home -timeless art that we will treasure forever.

To say I am obsessed with Studio Sarai's artwork is an understatement. I have so many pieces in my home, including the most amazing barn door. Her pieces provide an earthy, peaceful and beautiful vibe in the home. I am so thankful for her unique barn door designed and personalised to my style!

I can’t recommend Studio Sarai highly enough! From the very start, the whole process was smooth and a great experience —from planning every little detail to the personal delivery and even helping attach the piece. The art itself is absolutely stunning, incorporating personal touches like gold (which I love!) and meaningful elements that reflect my idea perfectly. Sarai went above and beyond to bring my vision to life, and it’s clear how much care and thought she puts into her work. This piece has already become such a treasured part of our home, and the whole family adores it. Thank you, Studio Sarai!

Sarai is a beautifully gifted wood artist who uses her own creative flair and innovation to design personalised art pieces to confidently meet the brief of the client. My experience with Sarai in designing a large, bespoke wood sunset piece for our master bedroom was definitely 5 stars - great communication, willingness to go above and beyond to meet my particular requests and needs, and the end result was a beautifully talented and one of a kind piece that will inspire our master bedroom for many years to come!

I cried when my sister bought me a voucher for one of Sarai's custom pieces. I had wanted one for so long, I was so happy I couldn't even speak. Sarai didn't disappoint. It is an absolutely stunning piece which fits my place perfectly and is the pride and joy of my home. Her style and choice of colour is impeccable.

When I first saw Studio Sarai’s artwork on social media, I was so drawn in and really wanted a piece for my home. I started to look at other artist’s work to find something similar but kept coming back to Sarai’s beautiful artwork. Her excellent eye for design and detail in the many different pieces she and Paul create is so evident through the patterns, colours, and wood types they use. Finally, I decided to request a custom piece…Sarai was so kind and attentive in hearing and clarifying exactly that I wanted, as well as helping me figure out what type of size and style would suit my space. It’s felt like Christmas morning over and over as I get to enjoy this beautiful, one-of-a-kind design on my wall. I am anticipating many comments from friends as they see this wonderful and unique conversation piece! Thank you so much, Sarai and Paul!

I reached out to Sarai after stumbling upon her incredible work on instagram. She was so responsive, gave me so many options to choose from. We elected for a custom barn door and Sarai absolutely captured what we were hoping for. Not only that, she was incredibly helpful with reducing shipping costs and sourcing additional materials required, even providing step by step instruction flyers. The whole process was so easy and we are obsessed with our functional, statement art piece. We can't wait to get another piece.

We used Studio Sarai as a means of bringing together a collection of my grandfathers wooden carvings, old projects and half finished pieces. We were so thrilled to bring life back into his work. A piece to showcase and a talking point when people come over. We absolutely love what Sarai produced for us and were bought to tears when we saw how she pulled it all together and placed it all so beautifully 💛💛💛
